Ici Tea Drinks Reviews

Really yummy drinks Yes they use real fruit which is rare these days Its more of a smoothie / slushy drink delicious!! The line really came in when they were about to close sucked for the employees but their attitude were amazing! Great for a weekday dessert definitely want to try another drink We got the persimmon drink they were really advertising the muskato drink which is basically grape flavored seems to be in season and very popular pro tip - do not save to drink later the drink will split and won't be the same.

So there's tons and tons of boba shops in LA, especially the SGV and everyone has different tastes so take this review for what it is (my opinion). ICI is in the same plaza as a chicha san chen (a popular boba shop that always has a huge line) so I can see this shop being passed over fairly often. However, because of the lower foot traffic, you don't have to wait as long and its much less crowded as you wait for your drink anyways. Whereas chicha san chen probably excels in having fragrant and flavorful tea, I think ICI stands out in having more variety of options and very fresh fruit. They had a seasonal sumo orange tea which was super refreshing and delicious. I've never thought about orange in my boba but it works (lemon and grapefruit does so why shouldn't orange). I also got one of the mango drinks and also found it to be great and not a bad price for the size of the drink (and being in the SGV). If you're looking for a fresh fruit tea or just wanna try something new, ICI was a pleasant surprise and definitely one of my return to boba shops now!

We tried their seasonal drinks. The coconut persimmon drink was so yummy and wasn't too sweet. Would recommend dropping by to try this drinks if you're in this area!!

Really glad I came in! I got their mango avocado smoothie and it didn't disappoint. Taste like they use fresh fruit and real ingredients. The workers are polite and made our 4 drinks very quickly. I like their decor inside as well! Super cute

Lately, I've been on a serious fruit tea kick. Maybe it's my age, or maybe I'm just totally milk tea'd out, but I stumbled upon ICI, and oh wooowwww. Ever since I tried their watermelon tea, I can't stop going back! So far, I've worked my way through the watermelon tea, strawberry tea, strawberry latte with mochi, sumo tea, and lemon tea. And yep, that's my order of preference too. Sumo tea and lemon tea rank at the bottom for me--way too much pulp! I'm sure some people love that, but not me. One thing to note: these teas are definitely on the pricey side, and I know I should cut back (LOL), but how can I when I'm obsessed with the tea jelly?!

Nice and refreshing drink. Got the half pound mango drink. It's good and refreshing. Comes with their tea jelly. Looked like ai yu jelly but it's tea. Nice flavor contrast with the drink. Nice texture too. My niece got the strawberry latte drink. She said it was just mid, but who knows, teenagers. Drinks are $7.50 +tax so it will make a dent in your wallet. They have tables and seats inside. Bright and nice. But kinda small. Used to be The Alley.

Stumbled upon this tea spot after another one I was seeking was closed. Glad I tried it! The drinks here were a hit with the family. Strawberry Mochi: super yummy! The mochi was a new and interesting stretchy chewy gooey texture. Sounds gross the was I described it but I promise it's good! Mango avocado mochi: this was a hit for my brother in law he said it was really good and refreshing Mango coconut: this was like a play on mango sago. Which I loveeee so this was absolutely yummy. I got mine less sweet and it was perfect! Price: I won't lie the drink prices are pretty steep, rounding up about $8 a drink but ranges from about $7-$8 I would recommend trying it, it's a steep price for a drink but the drink did come with lots of little add ins.

This boba spot is delicious!!! Everything is fresh and use fruits that are in season. Their avocado mango smoothie is my go to, it comes with tea jelly and mango bits and I opt for less sweet. They have never missed a point. Their boba milk tea tastes like caramel. Busy little shop but they bust out orders in a timely manner. I've came 10 mins before closing and they didn't turn me away nor did they run out of ingredients. Please stop by and support this boba business! Trust me your tastebuds will thank you!

My sister and I have been meaning to try this place out for awhile now. They serve fresh fruit teas. We got the Coconut Mango and the Sumo Berry Tea at regular sugar (recommended). Drinks were made quickly and immediately we knew we should have ordered less sweet. If you're someone who is used to drinking quarter sweet drinks definitely go for the less sweet option. Sumo Berry Tea was like an orange and strawberry mix. It was pretty good and had lots of pulp. Although I didnt really taste a strong tea flavor. I liked the Coconut Mango better because it was blended and more milky/creamy. Inside has minimal decor and was kind of stuffy inside. Drinks are on the pricier side because of the fresh fruits.
